You probably have a nickname!? Tell us about the funny story behind!
Most people call me Q .. its just easy. I got the nickname Q-diddy from the funny dude Marc-Andre Tarte, my second year in Europe at the air n style contest, he came up with it and was telling the announcer to call me that!
Do you remember your first day on a snowboard?
Hell Yeah it was great! I was 14 years old, in my first year at high school. Me and 2 class buddies gave it a go. We were off, raced down the hill all day. We just kept on the toe edge cause it was heaps easier and tried to go as fast as we could. Great fun!!
How did you learn new tricks back in the days?
I was really into skateboarding from young so skateboard films like ’Wheels of Fire’ and H-streets ’Shakle Me Not’ were giving us ideas on the slopes. Then we spent a lot of time on the trampoline. It was all about the grab when we started... so we would just practise and practise. Crails, crossrockets, roast beefs etc... my favourite was the Krooked cop.
Why did you never stop snowboarding since then?
I guess cause I’ve never had any super bad injuries, and just love the travelling so much.
You probably have visited a bunch of different ski resorts already. What is your favorite place, what was the most exotic and where would you like to live and ride in the future?
My favorite place would be Treble Cone NZ / most exotic maybe Brezovica KOSOVO and i’d really like to spend some time around inland Canada.
You also must have seen tons of snowboard videos in the past. What´s your favorite video part and why do you remember it?
One thats really stuck out for me was Ingemar Backmans part in the Melt Down Project. He was just going massive and getting the rad styles on his grabs...soo good.
Let us know about your favorite trick! Do you have any specials in your trick bag?
Back side 180, always has been and always will.
What do you like most about Völkl Snowboards?
The great range of cool boards and the whole crew involved. Good positive snowboarding fun!

What was your best experience so far in life? Can you explain a little?
Probably my first big road trip adventure in America (1996) with 3 kiwi friends. Bought a car in LA – took it to whistler then mexico and back to LA…. We had such good trip - That got me fully hooked on travelling.
And finally what is your biggest dream?
Still dreaming about it.
Be nice and lets all get along!
